About “Book of Southern Tang”
The Book of Southern Tang, also known as Ma's Book of Southern Tang, is a historical work from the early 12th century written by Ma Ling. It covers the Southern Tang state during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period and consists of 30 chapters. Ma Ling's grandfather, Ma Yuankang, had lived in the capital of Southern Tang, Jinling.
