About “Bowuzhi”
Bowuzhi, by Zhang Hua, was a compendium of Chinese stories about natural wonders and marvelous phenomena, drawing on many early Chinese classics. It covers Chinese mythology, history, geography, and folklore, and is one of the first works in the zhiguai, or "tales of anomalies," genre.
