Buso Renkin is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Nobuhiro Watsuki. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from June 2003 to April 2005 and later collected into ten tankōbon volumes by Shueisha. The story follows Kazuki Muto, a boy who becomes an alchemical warrior in a fight against homunculi, alchemical monsters. Watsuki created the series as his final shōnen manga, aiming to explore the genre to its fullest. The series was licensed for release in North America by Viz Media.
