About “Cædmon's Hymn”
Caedmon's Hymn is a short Old English poem attributed to Caedmon, described as a supposedly illiterate and unmusical cow-herder who, according to the Northumbrian monk Bede, was miraculously empowered to sing in honor of God the Creator.
