About “Cena Cypriani”
The Cena Cypriani, a short story attributed to Johannes Hymmonides, is an anonymous prose work written in Latin. Tradition ascribes original authorship to the 3rd-century Saint Cyprian, bishop of Carthage, though it was probably written around 400; Arthur Lapotre instead dates it to the reign of Emperor Julian the Apostate (361-363).
