About “Chevengur”

Chevengur is a socio-philosophical novel by Andrei Platonov, written in 1928. It is his longest work and considered by scholars to be his most significant. Fragments of the novel were published in the Soviet magazine Krasnaya Nov, but the full text was banned in the Soviet Union until 1988.
