About “Christianismi Restitutio”
Christianismi Restitutio was a book published in 1553 by Michael Servetus, written in a clandestine workshop after being rejected by a publisher in Basel. The work rejected the Christian doctrine of the Trinity and the idea of predestination, both long-established beliefs in Christian theology. Servetus claimed that God does not condemn anyone who does not condemn himself through his actions or words. In addition to its theological content, the book included original insights on pulmonary circulation, a medical discovery made independently of Ibn Al Nafis and contrary to the teachings of Galen.
