About “Coji-Coji”
Coji-Coji is a Japanese manga series created by Momoko Sakura, serialized in the magazine Kimi to Boku from December 1994 to May 1997. It was later adapted into an anime television series titled Sakura Momoko Theater Coji-Coji, which aired on TBS in Japan from October 4, 1997, to September 25, 1999. The story follows the titular character, Coji-Coji, a mysterious "Child of the Universe" with god-like powers. Coji-Coji has the ability to erase the universe and fire powerful energy beams, and it is also capable of living for millennia. Despite its immense powers, Coji-Coji spends its time in the land of Meruhen relaxing, eating, sleeping, and playing with a group of friends, including a talking snowman and a half-fish, half-bird character who cannot fly or swim.
