About “Convenience store woman”

Keiko Furukura, considered strange as a child, finds stability in a convenience store job during university, where she mimics her coworkers to fit in. Over 18 years, she remains in the same position, without a boyfriend or many friends, feeling comfortable but aware she does not meet societal expectations. Her family worries about her.
