About “Daughter of the Deep”

Ana Dakkar is a freshman at Harding-Pencroft Academy, a school that trains marine scientists and naval warriors, and the only family she has left is her brother Dev after their parents died on an expedition. On the bus to her class's secret weekend trial at sea, Ana and her schoolmates witness a tragedy, and she learns the century-and-a-half cold war between her school and rival Land Institute has turned into open conflict.
