About “Defending the undefendable”
Defending the Undefendable is a 1976 non-fiction book by American economist Walter Block. It has been translated into ten foreign languages. The book argues that certain individuals are stigmatized for engaging in actions that are often illegal or socially unacceptable but do not involve violence or property violation. Block suggests that these individuals may contribute positively to society. Each chapter explores a different group, such as prostitutes, blackmailers, misers, and litterers. The work presents a controversial perspective on social and economic behavior. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
