About “Dewey”

A picture book tells the story of Dewey, a library cat who became famous. When Librarian Vicki Myron finds a kitten in a library return box, she names him Dewey Readmore Books and takes him in as the library's cat. Dewey enjoys his new home but feels unsure when children play too roughly with him. Eventually, he learns that helping people is his true purpose, and he finds happiness in being the library cat.
