About “Dogra Magra”
Dogra Magra is a mystery novel written by Yumeno Kyusaku and published in 1935. It took the author more than ten years to plan and write. The novel is considered one of Japan's "three strange mysterious novels," along with The Black Death Mansion Murders by Oguri Mushitaro and An Offering to Nothingness by Nakai Hideo. It was adapted into a film in 1988 under the same title. The work is regarded as Yumeno's masterpiece and is noted for its contribution to the mystery genre in Japanese literature.
