Jason Guthrie, occupied with supporting his widowed brother and teenage nephew while working to restore his hometown, has no time for romantic entanglements. When his new neighbor, Honor Brown, reluctantly accepts his help in remodeling her house, Jason becomes drawn to her, finding himself wishing he could break down the emotional barriers she maintains.
