Dykes to Watch Out For was a weekly comic strip created by Alison Bechdel. It ran from 1983 to 2008 and was one of the first long-running depictions of lesbians in popular culture. The comic was compared to important lesbian literature of the past, such as Rubyfruit Jungle and Kinflicks.
