About “Embracing Love”
Embracing Love is a yaoi manga by Youka Nitta that follows two male pornographic actors who fall in love while trying to transition into mainstream acting. The series was initially published in English by Be Beautiful Manga before the company went bankrupt. In 2012, SuBLime Manga licensed the series for an omnibus release. As of 2023, only the first six volumes have been released in North America. The story uses the pornography industry as a setting, a choice Nitta made due to its potential and the parallels she saw between the industry's marginalization in Japan and the marginalization of boys' love manga within the broader manga industry.
