About “Encouragement of Climb”
Encouragement of Climb is a slice-of-life manga series written and illustrated by Shiro. It began serialization in 2011 in Comic Earth Star magazine, published by Earth Star Entertainment. An anime adaptation by Eight Bit premiered in Japan in January 2013 and was available on Crunchyroll. A second season aired in 2014, followed by an original video animation in 2017. A third season was broadcast from 2018. A new anime series, Encouragement of Climb: Next Summit, started in 2022. The series is based on the original manga.
