About “Fine things”

Bernie Fine is a successful businessman who moves to San Francisco to open a high-end department store. Despite his professional achievements, he feels empty in his personal life. While working, he encounters five-year-old Jane O'Reilly, who gets lost in the store. This leads him to meet her mother, Liz, with whom he forms a deep connection. Their growing relationship offers Bernie the love he has long sought. However, their happiness is short-lived as tragedy strikes, forcing Bernie to confront the painful cost of love.
