About “Flora australiensis”
Flora Australiensis is a seven-volume botanical work published between 1863 and 1878 by George Bentham, with assistance from Ferdinand von Mueller. It provides descriptions of 8,125 plant species found in the Australian Territory. The work is part of the Kew series of colonial floras and was the first complete flora of a large continental area.
