About “From Far Away”
From Far Away is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kyoko Hikawa. It was serialized in Hakusensha's shōjo manga magazine LaLa from September 1991 to October 2002, and later collected in 14 tankōbon volumes. The story follows a high school girl who is transported to a medieval-like fantasy world after encountering an explosive paper bag. The manga is licensed in North America by Viz Media.
