About “Ganba! Fly High”
Ganba! Fly High is a Japanese sports manga series written by Shinji Morisue and illustrated by Hiroyuki Kikuta. The story follows high school gymnast Shun Fujimaki as he works toward his goal of competing in the 2000 Olympic Games. The series draws from Morisue's own experiences as an Olympic champion. It was published in Weekly Shōnen Sunday, a shōnen manga magazine by Shogakukan, from June 1994 to October 2000. The manga was later compiled into 34 tankōbon volumes.
