About “Girl from the South”

Gillon Stokes, a woman from the South who rejects traditional Southern femininity, moves to London for a summer and forms a friendship with Tilly. After returning home, Tilly's boyfriend Henry follows her to South Carolina, where he becomes captivated by the marshes, the Stokes family, and the region, documenting it through his photography.
