About “Going it alone”

Gilbert Averell swaps passports with his look-alike friend Georges in order to spend more time in his native country while avoiding some of the rigours of taxation associated with living in France. A series of incidents involving Gilbert's sister and nephew suggest that Georges's offer was not made out of simple friendship.
