About “Golden Kamuy”
Golden Kamuy is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Satoru Noda. It was serialized in Weekly Young Jump, a seinen manga magazine published by Shueisha, from August 2014 to April 2022. The series was later compiled into 31 tankōbon volumes. The story follows Saichi Sugimoto, a veteran of the early twentieth-century Russo-Japanese War, and Asirpa, a young Ainu girl. Together, they search for a large fortune of gold that once belonged to the Ainu.
