The Gulistan, also spelled Golestan, is a significant work of Persian literature and one of the most influential prose works from the medieval period. Written in 1258 CE by the Persian poet Sa'di Shirazi, it is one of his two major works. Sa'di Shirazi is regarded as one of the greatest Persian poets of the medieval era.
