About “Hayate X Blade”
Hayate × Blade is a Japanese manga series created and illustrated by Shizuru Hayashiya. The story takes place in an all-girls school where sword-fighting is a central element. It was first published by ASCII Media Works in Dengeki Daioh from November 2003 to May 2008. The series resumed in Ultra Jump in August 2008 and ran until July 2013. It was collected into 18 tankōbon volumes in Japan. Seven Seas Entertainment obtained the license to release the manga in English. A sequel, Hayate × Blade 2, began in Ultra Jump in September 2013.
