About “Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku”
Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku is a Japanese web manga series written and illustrated by Yuji Kaku. Set during the Edo period, it follows ninja Gabimaru and executioner Yamada Asaemon Sagiri as they search for the elixir of immortality. Kaku designed the story to place characters with conflicting goals in a confined environment, forcing them to cooperate. The series was serialized on Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ platform from January 2018 to January 2021. It includes 127 chapters in 13 tankōbon volumes.
