About “Hi Score Girl”
Hi Score Girl is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rensuke Oshikiri. It ran from October 2010 to September 2018. The story follows Haruo Yaguchi, a gamer, and his relationship with Akira Ono, another gamer. The series covers their lives from around age 12 to age 17, set against the backdrop of the 1990s arcade game scene. The manga is known for its detailed depictions of gaming hardware and software, as well as its unique art style.
