About “Himmelsvolk”
Heaven Folk is a novel by German writer Waldemar Bonsels, published in 1915. It continues the story of the forest meadow introduced in Bonsels' earlier children's book The Adventures of Maya the Bee, from 1912. The book focuses on the interactions between animals, plants, and elves, depicting their communication and daily life over the course of a year.
