About “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud (English)”

"I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud" is a lyric poem by William Wordsworth. It was inspired by an encounter on 15 April 1802, when Wordsworth and his sister Dorothy saw a "long belt" of daffodils near Ullswater in the English Lake District. The poem, written in 1804, has 24 lines and was first published in 1807 in Poems, in Two Volumes. It was later revised in 1815. The work is among Wordsworth's most well-known poems.
