About “In the Miso Soup”
It's just before New Year, and Frank, an American tourist, hires Kenji for a guided tour of Tokyo's nightlife. Frank's behavior is strange, making Kenji suspect that Frank may have murderous intentions. Despite his own moral flaws, Kenji is drawn into a dangerous situation with Frank. The only hope for Kenji's salvation lies with his sixteen-year-old girlfriend, Jun. The story unfolds in a dark and intense atmosphere, exploring themes of morality and danger.
