About “In This Corner of the World”
In This Corner of the World is a manga series written and illustrated by Fumiyo Kōno. It was published from 2007 to 2009 in Weekly Manga Action. The story follows Suzu Urano, a young bride living with her new family on the outskirts of Kure City during the Second World War. The series was adapted into a live-action television special in 2011.
