A collaborative noir mystery featuring Pericles "Perry" Christo, a former police officer who lost his badge and his family in a corruption scandal and now works as a private investigator. Hired by wealthy Upper East Side matron Julia Drusilla to find her missing daughter Angelina, an heiress on the verge of a fortune, Christo takes what seems a straightforward case. As he digs deeper across New York and the Hamptons, he finds that everyone close to "Angel" has a hidden agenda and that she may be in grave danger. The novel is written chapter by chapter by a rotating cast of writers, each bringing a distinct voice to the story.
