About “Inside the O' Briens”

Patrol officer Joe O'Brien, a forty-four-year-old police officer from Charlestown, Massachusetts, is diagnosed with Huntington's Disease, a lethal neurodegenerative illness with no cure. As his symptoms progress and he loses his ability to serve as an officer, Joe and his four adult children face the emotional and psychological challenges of living with the disease's genetic inheritance, particularly the decision of whether to learn their own genetic fate through a blood test.
