About “Island, The”

On a weekend vacation with her brother and niece, Beth Anderson discovers what appears to be a skull on the beach and later finds it missing, prompting her to investigate the disappearance of a retired couple reported missing from the island's coast. As Beth seeks evidence, she becomes increasingly aware of the presence of Keith Henson, a stranger who claims to be watching over her but whose motives remain unclear, while a body washing ashore confirms her fears that her investigation is putting her in danger.
