About “Jailbird”
Jailbird is a 1979 novel by Kurt Vonnegut. It presents the memoir of Walter F. Starbuck, a man who has just been released from jail after serving time for a minor role in the Watergate conspiracy. The story follows Starbuck during his first two days of freedom, as he travels to New York City and meets two people from his past.
