About “Japji Sahib”
Japji Sahib is the Sikh thesis and appears at the beginning of the Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh scripture. It was composed by Guru Angad, though it mainly contains the writings of Guru Nanak. The text begins with the Mool Mantra and includes 38 paudis, or stanzas, written in different poetic meters. It ends with a final Salok by Guru Angad.
