About “Jew Süss”
The novel Reimpression, 1925 by Lion Feuchtwanger tells a part of the history of German Jews in the 18th century. Feuchtwanger was a popular novelist and collaborator of Bertolt Brecht. The book was adapted into a film that was strongly anti-Semitic and supervised by Joseph Goebbels. The film is considered a distortion of the original work.
