About “Jingchu Suishiji”
The Jingchu Suishiji is a historical account of holidays in central China from the 6th and 7th centuries. It was compiled by Du Gongzhan during the Sui or early Tang dynasty as a revised and annotated version of an earlier work called the Jingchuji, written by Zong Lin in the mid-6th century. The original Jingchuji is no longer extant, and the original text of the Jingchu Suishiji is also lost.
