Journey by Moonlight is a 1937 novel by Hungarian writer Antal Szerb. It is considered one of the most significant works in contemporary Hungarian literature. The novel has received high praise from English literary critic Nicholas Lezard, who called it "one of the greatest works of modern European literature."
