About “Julie of the Wolves”

Miyax, a 13-year-old orphan and newly married girl, runs away from her husband's parents' home in search of her pen pal in San Francisco. Lost in the Alaskan tundra with no food or shelter, she faces the challenge of survival while grappling with her identity between her traditional Eskimo upbringing and her modernized self, and later gains acceptance from a pack of wolves, forcing her to adopt their ways to endure.
