About “Karius og Baktus”
Karius and Bactus is a Norwegian children's book written and illustrated by playwright Thorbjørn Egner. It was first published in 1949. The story was later adapted into a 15-minute puppet animation film directed by Ivo Caprino in 1955. An English translation of the book was published in the United States in 1986.
