About “Kashf al-Asrar”

Kashf al-Asrar is a book written in 1943 by Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It was written in response to a 1943 pamphlet titled The Thousand-Year Secrets by Ali Akbar Hakimzadeh. Hakimzadeh had previously left the Qom seminary and in the mid-1930s published a modernist journal called Humayun, which promoted reform in Islam. Kashf al-Asrar is the first book where Khomeini expressed his political views. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
