Kekkaishi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yellow Tanabe. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday, a shōnen manga magazine published by Shogakukan, from October 2003 to April 2011. The story is divided into 35 tankōbon volumes. The series follows Yoshimori Sumimura and Tokine Yukimura, who are heirs to two rival families of kekkai users.
