Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Syun Matsuena. It is a remake of an earlier series titled Tatakae! Ryōzanpaku Shijō Saikyō no Deshi, which was published in Shōnen Sunday Super from October 1999 to February 2002. The remake, Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple, was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday from April 2002 to September 2014. The manga was later collected into 61 tankōbon volumes.
