Kitab al-Wuslah ila l-habib is a 13th-century Syrian cookbook that contains 635 recipes. It was authored or compiled by an anonymous writer, though some sources attribute it to the historian Ibn al-Adim from Aleppo. The book offers insight into the food and culinary practices of the Middle East more than 700 years ago. It is considered one of the earliest known examples of a cookbook.
