About “Kokurikozaka kara”
Coquelicot-zaka kara is a Japanese manga series written by Tetsurō Sayama and illustrated by Chizuru Takahashi. It was first published in 1979 in the manga magazine Nakayoshi. The story was later adapted into an animated film titled From Up on Poppy Hill, produced by Studio Ghibli and directed by Gorō Miyazaki.
