About “Koning en Koning”
Koning en Koning (King & King) is a children's picture book co-authored and co-illustrated by Stern Nijland and Linda De Haan. It tells the story of a young prince whose mother forces him to find his princess; after meeting many princesses, the prince instead falls in love with another prince. Originally written in Frisian, it has since been published in ten languages, and its illustrations and storyline have received both positive and negative reviews.
