Le Tour de la France par deux enfants is a 1877 French novel written by Augustine Fouillée under the pseudonym G. Bruno. It combines elements of fiction, geography, and travel, and was widely used in schools during the Third Republic. The book helped shape a sense of national unity among French children and became one of the most popular educational texts of its time. It reached a circulation of 6 million copies by 1900 and 7 million by 1914. The book remained in use in schools until the 1950s and is still in print.
