When her four-year-old daughter reports a sick man in their yard, Honor Gillette finds him to be Lee Coburn, a man accused of murdering seven people the previous night. Coburn, armed and desperate, demands her cooperation to retrieve a valuable item he claims her late husband possessed, placing her and her daughter in peril as they flee from authorities and uncover a conspiracy involving corruption and depravity.
